Some of the movements are barely recognizable but are still remarkably beautiful. I enjoyed this and the violin sonatas disc very much, keeping in mind it is not meant to be a pure transcription. Purist fans of the original works may have some difficulty in appreciating this recording but I would expect piano fans to enjoy it.
