Interlocking passages are masterly executed in var.5 and var.20, producing the most splendid and astonishing results. Like Gould, his sheer keyboard wizardry is able to sweep listeners off their feet. This rendition of the Goldbergs shows his deep love for the music of Bach. Though only 17, his music has already reached the stage of maturity. Brilliantly played and stunningly recorded. Bachians will await his future releases with much anticipation.
