A good (but not excellent) recording. The sound is very clear, even to the point of being harsh. The soloists are quite compotent, and give these pieces an "authentic" feel. The sonata in A (BWV 1015) is played especially well, as is the sonata in G (BWV 1019).

I find Sitkovetsky's performance to be too harsh but I love Rober Hill's performance, so I can't say I don't recommend it, I just don't love it. |
