| Comments: | The Seon label (1970-80) was crated by the producer Wolf Erichson, who worked at Das Alte Werk. He continued impulsing the recordings in the spirit of the aplication of the 'ancient stiles". The cd now comented is part of these production. The recording was remastered with SBM, and is incredible and very clear, but the timing of the disc is poor. The conduction of Br³ggen is between the Harnoncourt- Leonhart version (with arcaics ritmicals accents but some controled & the use of the children voices with the trebles and contralto parts) and Gardiner (elegant and trasparent). Idon't listen the Koopman integral, but I think that the comparition between the Neederals conductor could be interesant. The voice of Van Egmond is some controled. The orchestra had a important numbers of original instruments in time of copys. The cd's price is low, a important reason for who began his experience with Bach's cantatas corpus. The edition is from 1998. |
