Noonan said: Chorzempa displays his usual precision. At times the notes do bog him down, but he has always been a master of the air and you can clearly hear the size of the room in Kampen, the Netherlands, where it was recorded. Chorzempa is able, in this recording, to balance his constant deliberate playing with some emotion. For example, the Dorian has been butchered too many times to tell, but Chorzempa plays the notes in an authentic reproduction, and the music sings.
