Mostly very fine but BWV 234 suffers from too much vibrato and some dodgy intonation from the soloists. Very interesting is the inclusion of BWV 237-242. I'm not aware of them being available elsewhere and they're well performed. Charles M.K. Herman said: I believe that this piece (BWV 239) is a Sanctus in d minor, not D Major (as you have it listed). You may wish to correct your listing, or else correct ME (I have been known to be wrong). I further believe that this recording, although issued under the MHS label, was also issued independently (perhaps under the ERATO label? This is not uncommon with MHS recordings).
