Gardiner makes Ko?ená work wonders with her voice. Especially the fourth movement "Tief gebückt und voller Reue" is marvellous, with great feeling and absolutely the right tempo. An absolutely top-grade recording. BWV 113 and BWV 179 are quite good as well, though not outstanding. |
