| Comments: | This is a three disc set. The tempos are remarkably quick (generally much faster than Gould, e.g.). His articulation tends toward the legato. Still, he has an uncanny ability to bring out the different voices in the fugues, which I think are remarkable. The preludes are less remarkable. This set would not be my first choice, but it is growing on me. |
