Sound is perfect, so is the performance. I browsed through the recommended/unrecommended works in this homepage for motets and was surprised to discover that this cd is not within the list. This is the first and only Bach motet work I have in hand. But it does not deter me from announcing that it is a great collection not to be missed. The performance is natural and unmannered. All the parts of the voices are highly integrated and interwoven thus producing a tranquil, serene, rich and spiritual effect. It is the kind of interpretation that you do not feel the performers standing in the path between you and the music. Highly recommended.
