My musical friends and I admire the two opening aria's of the cantates mainly because of the exceptional voice and subtle interpretation by Mr. Deller. The recording also has an historical value: Gustav Leonhardt and Nikolaus Harnoncourt can be heard at work in the period before they became famous. |
