His playing is extraordinary: playful, sensitive, intelligent and expressive. The harpsichord sound is resonant without being too much so. His crisp articulation enhances the beautiful melodies contained in these works, they dance and sing. It's a delightful recording and one of my favorites of the six harpsichord partitas.
