See Liz Ling's comments on BWV 243! I agree with them and would just like to add that - next to Koopman's recordings - I like Herreweghe's best. Compared to Koopman's they have a much more uniform musical standard (Koopman's earlier cantata recordings have been blamed by some criticists, and that rightly, I think). |
