Outstanding in every aspect. Angela Hewitt is clearly, in my opinion, the best contemporary interpreter of Bach's keyboard works on the piano. The recorded sound on this disc (as well as her other Bach recordings) is excellant: not too resonant but also neither dry and "clinky". I've always preferred to hear my Bach performed on the harpsichord but Hewitt's artistry keeps me listening! Highly Recommended. |
