I heard the Toccata in D major on the radio and was so impressed I purchased the disc right away. While many tend to downplay these works, Hewitt really brings them to life on the piano. While my favorite recording of the Toccatas is the Troeger clavichord recording (such a delight), this is easily the best cd of piano interpretations I've heard. Very Highly recommended!
