Play this record if you want to know what kind of music todays Yngwie Malmsteen fans would have listened to if they were born a few centenials earlier.
The instruments are very carefully chosen, even without knowledge of the notes you can clearly tell which harpsicord is playing what. Timing of the musicians is excellent, and the recording quality is outstanding. You feel as if located in the middle of the small recording room. Hogwoods string arrangement of 1064 and Vivaldis RV580 are nice bonus tracks.
It is one of my most frequently played discs.
