There are no extremes of tempo or dynamics, either. Tempi are ebullient, voices are articulated & clear, & the recorded sound is intimate & realistic. A textbook performance, one any piano teacher could recommend enthusiastically. Standout performance: D major Prelude & Fugue, BWV 850.
