Comments:David Perrine said:

Taut, sharply etched performances in the Kremer manner. Very modern with a wide range of tone colors, some off the string bowing, and a vibrato than ranges from non-existent to very thick. Kremer's attack can be brutal but he avoids the sustained heavy sound that makes many versions tiring. These are unconventional interpretations and might not be your first choice if you only wanted one version; but in their own way they are superb.
