The echo makes it sound unnatural and looses some of the detail of the harpsichord. I think his performance is over-expressive, his tempos feel awkward to me sometimes. Don't mistake this for Leonhardt bashing! I generally enjoy his work. Just this particular recording doesn't work for me; I always go back to the Huguette Dreyfus.
