Comments:Leonhardt conducts an exceptional performance of "Aeolus Appeased," with David Thomas impressive as Aeolus, the blustering god of the winds. Also includes a performance of the congratulatory cantata BWV 214, most of the music of which was later reused for the "Christmas Oratorio."
