Outstanding! I´ve heard 14 (!) different recordings of the cantata BWV 51 "Jauchzet Gott in allen Landen", which is my favourite Bach cantata, and this one is by far the best. Adele Stolte´s exceptional soprano voice sounds as clear and crisp as if it were a boy´s, but with all the experience and understanding of an adult woman.
Every time I hear this record, I almost fall down on my knees. This is my absolute No.1 Bach record. |
