It is extraordinary. I enjoy the lush sound of a non-HIP orchestra. Their tempos are so reasonable that I fell in love with this music all over again. Sensitive slow movements, warm and elegant fast movements; this has become one of my favorite sets. I know it's old-fashioned but I don't care, I love it. Disc 2 includes Munchinger's own arrangements of two fugues and the famous chorales indicated above. They are delicious, I played this cd over and over.
