Comments:Michael Siegel said:

This is a 3rd recording of Richter conducting the Mass, recorded in Moscow in April 1968 (not to be confused with the live Tokyo recording in 1969). This recording was previously available as an LP from the Russian label MELODIYA. Now it has been released on CD in Japan, and is only available from TOWER RECORDS. Unfortunately this item is not shipped overseas, so you either need a friend or a rented mailbox in Japan. This CD is part of a series called "Live in Russia" from the new label ARS NOVA, which includes live performances by Karajan, Szell, Richter, and others; all of which are available from the Japanese TOWER website.
