| Comments: | Richter's Bach is unique in that, while "old-fashioned", it has a bounce an elan which escapes most of the "authentic period" performances which are in vogue in certain circles. With Richter, one appreciates the striking sound of the brass in Bach's Suites, particularly as juxtaposed against the tympani. |
