Review by Jan Hanford: The chorale-settings are some of the most beautiful music I have ever heard. Spread out over 9 cd's (Volumes 78 through 85), the Hanssler edition combines vocal and organ chorales. They included the chorale settings and Schemelli hymn book, with chorale arrangements on organ in between. Although I prefer the Teldec Bach 2000 Edition which presents the chorales in BWV order over 4 cd's, without organ, the Hanssler edition is also an excellent collection of gorgeous music.
