The performance is moving, I just wish I could hear the entire performance (this recording consists of just the choruses and arias). All the soloists sing with depth of expression, and the chorus and orchestra "ride on the wings of the wind." Hemuth Rilling is a favorite Bach conductor, and this recording is an example of exemplary artistry.
