One of the best harpsichord performances I have ever heard, Scott Ross is superb. The Italian Concerto is the most beautiful piece of this record: from the first track, the sound is shocking.
The Partita BWV 831sends us to the past, at a courtly place, where dancers are enjoying the piece. Well placed (one can hear some cuckoo songs far beyond) and engineered.
