This disc is almost impossible to get, and I don't know why Decca wouldn't re-release it. Schiff's interpretation of Bach has always been my favorite (Pinnock on harpsichord being second), and this collection definitely doesn't let me down. The Italian Concerto and French Overture were previously released as part of the French Suites set, but the Duets and the Fantasy appear here for the first time (they were also included later in the Keyboard Works box set). Schiff's performance is exceptional, as always, and the quality of recording is wonderful. This disc is a gem.
