I HAVE HEARD PEOPLE RECOMMENDING BACH'S MAGNIFICAT CONDUCTED BY KARL RICHTER.IT IS GOOD. BUT IN COMPARISON, I PREFER SCHREIER'S VERSION.THE TERZETTO IS EVEN GENTLER AND HEART-SHATTERING THAN RICHTER'S.I FEEL THAT I'M SUCH A SINNER WHENEVER I LISTEN TO IT (I'M NOT CHRISTIAN).FORTUNATELY,THE MUSIC CLEANSES AND PACIFIES MY SOUL,SO THAT I'M STILL LIVING TO INTRODUCE THIS RECORD.THERE IS NOT A BIT OF FORCE ON EVERY NOTE,BUT IT'S STRENGTH IS MAGNIFICENT. TRY OUT THE OTHER PIECES IN THE BOX SET.SCHREIER'S NATURALISTIC INTERPRETATION LETS THE MUSIC FLOW BY ITSELF.
