A very solid but probably not the best interpretation of these works. I've had this recording for years now and back then mainly bought it because of the Passacaglia which I didn't have a copy of at the time.
Tachezi might give anyone who's unfamiliar with Bach a good introduction to his works. The first thing I heard him playing was "The Art of the Fugue" (which is -not- on this CD) and I immediately fell in love with the work, the registration and the playing. Anyone settled into Bach's works might prefer other performances though.
I'm not sure this recording is still available, they might have done a re-release. I didn't look for it though.
