Although Valenti was not a bad performer (unlike some harpsichordists at the time, he did not go in for dithyrambic rubatissimo), his harpsichord is rather blurry, resulting in a mush in which the seperate voices are indistinguishable. In addition, his tempos are often too slow in the fast movements and too fast in the slow movements, like Richter.
