A definitive performance of the famous D minor Toccata, if there ever was one! Sound quality surpassing anything available today. Presumably out of print, which is no criterion for excluding it from this list, as resourceful collectors will find a way to acquire a copy if they want to hear these works as Bach intended for them to be heard. The others in your list (I've heard
them all) pale by comparison.

I heartily second S. Baird's recommendation. If you can find this recording, buy it. The Passacaglia has an ethereal quality that cannot be described. When oh when will Nonesuch recordings be rereleased on CD??????
